update update!!

my first entry of this semester! wellie wellie wee...~!! haha kk. lame.

well well. let's see. over the holidays, wad i've done.

i worked at john little at causeway point for about a month. goodness gracious. the sales period was hectic. first, i was at the children's/houseware/household linen dpmt at lvl two. then when the great summer sale started, i was sent to the atrium sales at basement one. -.-''' so sian sia there. but the good thing was me and my friend, were able to talk and talk freely, unlike at lvl two. but working b shift was the shift i dreaded most. full shift and all alone there. it sux.

after the houseware sales at the atrium, four of the temp staff, including me, were sent to the ladies' dpmt at lvl one. we were known as the atrium staff actually. working there wasn't as fun as at lvl two. the perm staff there were kinda strict w/ their rules of no talking.. no grouping.. no slacking..bla bla bla.. worst of all, the manager of ladies' dpmt, whom we called the "BF" or "big fuck". dunno who started that one though. there was practically nth to do there. from wad the temp staff girls told me, they weren't allowed to do cashiering coz that BF dun trust them. when the four of us were sent dwnstairs, we weren't allowed to do cashiering either. though we were already kinda experienced in it.

overall, the thing i hated the most about working at john little was the lunch/dinner breaks. coz i always end up going alone. i especially hate it when i'm on b shift. lunch break: alone. dinner break: alone. so sian. every morning when i see the hourly manpower schedule, i wld be the only one going at that specific time. like say, 4pm these few ppl wld go. 5pm wld be yours truly. 6pm wld be these other ppl. so suay..... but this didn't happen everyday la. but most of the days. and that concludes why i hated the breaks. out of the whole period of time i was working there, i only really ate only a few times. that's it. haiz.

wad a pathetic life.

but then again, the best part was meeting new ppl. got to know and made some great friends from working there.

and now i'm in object-oriented design & programming. which i know nothing about. 6.40pm to 9.30pm. so sian.

oh well.

au revoir~

when life gets hard, fuck it...

with love, lydiana
